The long awaited day finally arrives!

My first personal sighting of my book on the shelves was at Jane's Paperback Swap 'n Shop. Jane and Susie were nearly as excited as I was. Unfortunately, I rushed off without my camera. On October 6th, from 10-12, Jane will be sponsoring a booksigning for me, and I promise not to forget my camera that day.

Nor the next afternoon, when my dearest friends Sandra K. Moore and Jessica Trapp are throwing me a launch party in the bar at the Texas Roadhouse Restaurant. This has become somewhat of a tradition, and I'm can't wait to raise an amaretto margarita toast to my own sucess. Thanks in advance, girls. In the words of Julia Roberts, aka Pretty Woman, "If I forget to tell you later, I had a great time tonight."

Here I am at the Texas Roadhouse, signing books, hugging necks, sipping drinks and eating up my 15 minutes in the spotlight.
